Default Whay are timing values negative in the Edit timing retard tables??

My stock values in LS1 Edit for maximum timing retard are -8 and -10 degrees. I've noticed some tuners change these to positive values. Can anyone tell me what's going on there?

Thanks,
Craig

That is the furthest timing will be allowed to drop to. I guess negative would actually be after tdc.

Hmmm, I thought that table was the max amount of timing retard, not the absolute timing value.
