Default Can you stack an performance mod. with a programmer?

( 03 dmax.)
Is it possible to stack an edge performance mod. with a programmer? If so, what kind is best? Will it harm the programmer or the mod.? or How hard is it to get the software for a 6.6L duramax?

At my Dealership the sales manager stacked a HPPIII on a 130 HP Edge box but mainly all it did is smoked!! No real power gain. Now what several people have done is used the Egde box for power and used the HPPIII to correct for non-stock tires or gearing (like for lifted trucks).

Hope this answers your question.

Yes, you can use the HPPIII to RAISE the govenor, but as to how high you can go, that I just don't know. Each of the options in the HPPIII are individually selectable and remember you can always go back to stock. If the dealer has the truck for warraty issues you need to remind them not to reflash your computer or your HPPIII programming will be permanentely lost. Or you could return to stock before going to the dealer (best idea). Why do you want to drive a truck that fast anyway?? J/k!!
