Default knock sensor

how can you check if it's good or not. and are the plugs for that at the rear of the intake?thanks

If they're bad you will be getting a code... ah I see you have a 98 ... I think there's some weird thing w/the 98 s where you get like 3.9* of knock or something ... I believe people upgrade to the newer knock sensors or tune them to be less sensitive ... few searches will reveal that ... and i'm sure others will jump in with comments here....

The knock sensors are located directliy under the intake manifold... (not behind it) ... if you pull hte intake manifold be careful cause you have 2 vacuum lines, a MAP sensor and the oil sensor all back there... my first time pulling hte intake manifold cost me 80 bux or so to get it back together Vacuum hose for the brake booster grabbed the oil pressure sensor and snapped it off...
