Default Engine pops then dies when going to WOT

This has happened twice in the past week. The first time it sounded like it backfired through the intake. Today when it happened it sounded like and exhaust backfire.

The first time I was logging data, slowed down dropped it in first and went to WOT. The revs picked up for a second, then I heard a pop and the engine died. I pulled off the road, turned the ignition off and it refired with no problem.

I recently used contact cleaner to clean carbon off the IAC valve. I am wondering if some of the cleaner could have ruined a sensor? O2 or MAP?

I do know that O2 sensors are highly sensitive. Maybe the cleaner did screw it up. How much cleaner did you use?

Anything look suspicious in the data you logged?

Yes, Ltrims went from negative to +5 to +9, 02 read 50 mV for for 5 or six scans, also got a lot of KR after the pop, ignition timing went to zero.

sounds like maybe your fuel filter and/or pump. Try to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and see what happens when you go WOT
