Default Predator?

What rpm should I set the shifts for each gear? Also what should I bump up the rev limiter to that is safe? This is on a 2000 SS bone stock.

The tune that came with it has the shift points set about right. Raise the rev limiter for what? If your bone stock with a stock cam you motor is not going to put out any more power over 5700rpms. You will gain nothing reving higher. Save that motor. Get a cam and valve springs later and then wind it up. Have fun with your Pred. I like mine.

Thanks for the imput. Guess i'll leave the shift rpm and rev limiter where its at but can I raise the shift pressure and shift duration? If so do I need to go -25% or +25% on the shift pressure and the shift duration? Don't really know where to set these to be safe.

I raised my shift pressure to max and time between shifts to min for quickest shift. I haven't heard of it hurting anything. I've had mine that way for about for about 6k miles. I also put in a 160 thermostat and reset fans for it. And here in California we don't get 93 octane. Only 91 so I had to retard the timing a bit. Experiment with timing and fuel in SMALL increments to find what works best for your ride. Climate, altitude and such make a difference. When you get it dialed in you can hear and feel the difference. Good luck.
