Default hptuners question but for a v6 model

my friend just got hp tuners for his late model 3800 powered camaro...in his timing table theres one spot on the table at like 4000rpms and .12 g/cyl where the timing takes a huge dip...all the surrounding #'s are 30-40 degrees whereas this one frame is at 15...obviously its not an area of the powerband that would ever actually be in use and if it ever does it wont be often...is this a tuning snafu from gm and should we just put the timing close to the surroundings or leave it be?
