Default ses light flashing

The ses light flashes only when crusing in 5 gear between 1500 and 1900 rpm , if i go to 2000 rpm it stops flashing ,wont flash in any other gear .I can put it in any other gear in that rpm rang and no flash , and it does not store a code ,any thoughts .

If I remember correctly, it has to do with "possible CAT damage"

When the SES light is flashing it usually means that a coil is not firing, either a spark plug boot is off, the plug is fouled, the spark is blowing out (NOS problem). Check to make sure that your Plug wires are all on tight and your plugs are not broken.

I'd just take the low rpm misfire tables and change all the values to 32767. It'll rid you of the code in that area, if it truly is a bad misfire it was flash in more than just one load/rpm area.
