Shiftlight install problems HELP!!
I just installed an autometer shiftlight and got directions off the install university website. I grounded the black wire to the firewall, the red wire runs to the 12v ignition and i wiretapped the green wire to the 35 on the upper part of the ecu and the light powers up but doesnt flash when the rpm comes to what kind of pill i have. thanks for any advise at all.

I dont think you have the right wire for your tach signal.
It may not be your companies install manuall but look at this good info;

You can get the right info here for your install.
Also the wire that comes out of the PCM "tach signal" goes to the traction control system. There is a 8 pin connector on the right wheelhouse. (where all those connectors are on the passenger side) The white wire on 99-02 is the tach wire, you can tap it here. If the car does not have TCS the wire comes into the connector & there is no mating wire for it. So it is even more easily I.D.'d.
