Default Car Wont Down Shift At WOT At Mid RPM After Trex Install

After I installed a trex, 90mm lsx, pully the car sometimes will not down shift at wot. If I am in lower rpm > 2000 it downshifts and HAULS *** but if i am above 2k the engine just boggs down and stays in the same gear. This never happend when I had the stock cam in. The only thing that I have changed in my tune is the 5 things below, all other stuff is default. Do I need to change my shift points because of a cam? What would cause this?

1. Idle Limiters --> Idle Speed: 850
2. Idle Limiters --> Idle Air In Gear: All points 60C and up to 8.6
3. Fuel --> Main VE Table: Multiply column 400 rpm by .53. Multiply column 800 by .69. Multiply column 1200 by .80 Multiply column 1600 by .95.
4. Ignition --> High Octane Table: Add 2 deg to all points 400 to 1000 RPM, .08 to .32 g/sec
5. Disabled misfire detection 141/142

Someones gotta have some ideas on this. I have tried everything I know to try on this. I changed my shift points and that helped a little. Can someone post their shift points in an A4 that has already been tuned?

I just did h/c on my car. I'm running a 231/237 cam. Ever since I've had the same problem. I think it may be from a throttle position sensor insufficiant ac code thats being thrown. Are you throwing any codes? good luck!

I got that same code. But I have not gotten it in a while. Have you tried replacing your tps? Is there a fix for it? Anyone?

I had that problem with doing my 231/237 cam too.
I wound up having to raise my P0121 settings on the Engine Diagnostics Tab, from 55 and 65, to 75 and 85.
That single step cured it

Thanks, Ill go try that. Did you have problems with your engine bogging down also? Does this have any other affects in the car?

I don't think it does directly.
I had some bogging issues. But once I got the Throttle Blade positioned right, and the Idle and Running airflow right, it got better.

Well that seemed to clear up the downshifting issue. Can someone explain was P0121 means exactly and how it might affect the preformance?

The larger cam is raising your Manifold Absolute Pressure at idle. When the pcm sees the higher MAP it is expecting the throttle to be at a higher % than it is, so it throws a code which can effect how it shifts. The pcm runs the test for this code between 55 and 65 MAP, raising the values as described to run the test between 75 and 85 MAP fixes the trouble.

So you finally got that Trex acting civilized huh? do you think the high idle is going to cure the surge? My idle is at 1000rpm and I used the NoGo guide to start. I went to 9.2 on the IAC for surging....even thought it's still surging. I'll probably use your specs and with an 1075 idle to see if she's better at idle and on the stop.

Since then I have been able to work my idle down to 850 when warm. With the dual street pro electric cutouts after the headers with dumps. It sounds mean
