Default Going from Closed Loop to Open loop?

Assuming that a car is dialed in correctly in Closed loop, the ltrims are correct and the WOT tuning is correct, what will happen when the car is put into open loop? Will it run correctly or will the be many changes that need to be made?

Thanks

Floyd

What are the main things I should look for? Should I hook it up to the wideband and see how far the A/F is off?

If you set the open loop A/f talble to a multiplier (1.13) that gives you an AFR accross the whole rpm range. Then when you run the car with the WB you should see the set AFR at all times

Thanks...

What about WOT? will that be the same or does that change? I know 02's aren't used @ WOT so wouldn't it be the same?

If you have a wideband then you will be able to dial in WOT also....

WOt reads off the Pe vs. RPM table but whichever value is richest the pcm will pick from that table. Usually people set the Pe table to 0.00 to make sure it doesnt skew any results. Thus leaving the open loop f/a table to choose from
