Default no power at ALDL connector, any suggestions?

In process of moving and don't have my service manuals. On a 2001 Denali, I don't think I'm getting power to my aldl connector. My scanmaster and power programmer aren't working. I need to know which position on the front of aldl is the power and which is the ground so I can check them with a test light. Or anybody know the color of wire from rear of aldl so I can check it there?
Has anybody had a problem with this or know where I should look if I'm not getting power there? Fuse etc maybe???
thanks, damon
