Default Is the Hypertech Tuning any good?

I've got the Hypertech Programmer and i've heard some negative things about the "power tuning". I've heard it leans out the fuel and actually causes a performance loss. On my car it seems to have given me more torque?

search this forum and you'll find hundreds of replies about it...

Long story short... it does lean the car out, it copies the high octane to low octane spark tables, and it tweaks a few other things... some cars gain a little power but seems the vast majority lose power...

Hypertech Power Programming is all hype .. if you take it to the track and run faster then you're one of the lucky individuals that it actually helped (now add MAF ends and I bet you'll go too lean) ... but for most the HPP3 is a waste of money

Yeah HPP is way overrated... take a look at these screen shots I took comparing two .bins form Horist's website. HPP tweaks the timing a little and that's it...
