LS1edit: Runtime Error 7 Out of Memory

Default LS1edit: Runtime Error 7 Out of Memory

I recently loaded LS1edit on a laptop and when I tried booting up the edit portion It stopped and gave me this error message...
Runtime error 7
out of memory

The computer is a 300mhz, 128mb, 8gb IBM.

Might need virual memory space. How big is your virtual setting? How much free space on the HD?

Are you running XP with SP2 loaded ... there are problems for some apps with SP2

Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. Windows 98? ... can't help you there. I killed off those brain cells years ago

98 huh? I still support hundreds of 98 workstations “life is good!” windows 98 is a fine OS

if this does not work let me know and i will see what else i can come up with.

also make sure you have all the windows updates if you have access to high speed on that computer... if not dont spend your time downloading them over a lan based line
