Default Speed Density tune + OBD2 emissions?

Ok guys, I REALLY REALLY like how my car is running with speed density (no MAF). I have the code set to not turn an SES on but I guess it will still set a code in the computer. Here in AZ they only do the OBD2 test (plug in) and what I'm wondering is will I pass? I have been told that if I turn the code OFF (x it out with LS1Edit) the computer will still think te MAF is working and get pissed off (die). Is this true? Could I tune around this somehow?

How do I make it work?

If you turn the light off it will still set the code and you will fail emissions. I dont know what turning the code completely off will do since I am not to worried at the moment about that orange light glaring at me...LOL. I guess its a test worth 27 seconds of my life I just havent attempted it yet.

Correct it you disable the code the computer will not like it and will die. I have been trying to find a work around for this myself, but so far I have not had any luck. My suggestion would be to plug the MAF back in and scale it until the LTFT's are back in line to what you are seeing in SD. Then after the emissions test, just unplug it and reload the SD tune and you're back to the way you like it. I'm sure you could deal with running a MAF for 30 minutes while they scan for codes.

You can't have any codes and only 1 or two emissions readiness tests are allowed to be in an incomplete state.
