Default ?About mafless in closedloop?????

I got my car to go into closed loop without the maf hooked up. It seems like the olfa table is the biggest player at idle. Do I need to set the air fuel to the desired amount in olfa table and use wideband or stft to adjust the ve. Or do I adjust the ve till I get the desired airfuel I want per load cell. Since I adjusted the olfa table my ltft's are -10 to -6 across the board. What would be the best way to adjust ltft's to the desired amount?

The OLFA table should only be active in open loop.
That will be, at temps below the closed loop enable
ECT (cold idle) and above the PE enable MAP/TPS.
When you enter closed loop you will see the fuel air
multiplier set to 1.000 and your STFTs suddenly come
"live".

In open loop the OLFA sets the "intent" and the VE table
sets the "calibration". It might be cleanest to tune the low
end VE in open loop speed density mode, by the O2
histogram, presuming you can get the car to at least be
drivable in that mode. Tune it for VE fidelity when fully
warmed up and then tune the OLFA later for cold starts
and cold drivability.
