Default tuning A4 tranny with HP tuners...

ok everyone, I have a 2001 SS A4 with 3.73 gears and a Yank PY3600E tq converter w/ 2.75 str, and a Transgo stage 2 shift kit. From what I understand, I only have to tune under normal tuning, correct? Performance won't do me any good? (I was under inital impression performance was WOT). Also, assuming I am correct in only tuning normal, I took all torque after 280 and brought shift time from .500 down to .250, cuz I assumed this was the time I am flooring the car. I also went ahead and moved my base shift pressure normal from 240-380 to 50 and from 400-540 to 70 and rest to 90. Originally, these were gradual changes, in which it went up like 2 or 3 per 20 tq. Am I going to hurt anything by staying consistent? Any info you could provide would be a HUGE help. Thanks.
