Default M6 PCM vs. A4 PCM .. differences only in calibration section?

Is it possible to modify a PCM (base is A4)... by turning off all the A4 SES Lights (plus other tweaks? Reverse Lockout? Skipshift?) to then use the PCM successfully in an M6?

Same for M6 to A4 ... do the A4 tables exist in the M6 calibration... just not used? (I'll compare some binaries later but don't have time right now)

Is there any OS difference or is it just in the calibration portion (full rewrite of PCM vs. calibration only rewrite)

Default

only the cal is different, OS is the same. You can flash between the two with just a "Write VCM" no need to write the entire thing.
