will the truck pcm work on a F-body? I have a 2000 camaro LT1 I'm putting into a kit car. I also have the computer out of a 2002 silverado truck. From what I heard so far the 6.0L the LS1 and the LQ4 all use the same computer, but I truely question this...Anybody have any idea?

First of all it should be a LS1, and yes the truck computor will work,but if you have anti theft system you will haft to have it reflashed from your dealer. I know because i did the exact same thing .I have a 2000WS6 and I used a comp. out of a 2002 GMC.When I put the computor in my car I tryed to start my car, it tryed but just would not run, so I took it to my dealer and they said if it has anti theft it would not run ,so they flashed it and it runs perfect for two years now.Hope this help.
