Default PCMCIA RS232 serial card for LS1edit

I need to get a PC card with serial ports for my new laptop. I have found 4-5 different brands on the market and very in cost pretty significantly. Any differences between brands?

Their are many differences in the chipsets and drivers of each card but having dealt with so manydifferent USB->Serial, PCMCIA->Serial adapters for my job I have the most confidence in the SocketCom products. They do cost a bit more than some brands but reliability and updated drivers/support is what you get. Since you are dealing with LS1 Edit (not having a recovery feature) I would advice using a higher end card if you can.
