Default Q: Editing DTC for Readiness State- evap misfire

Anyone have any luck changing DTC so that readiness states go to complete faster. Specifically, how to get EVAP and misfire to complete.

This may have something to do with emissions testing

What DTCs do i need to turn off for misfire... It never completes, and I turned off 0300. I hope i dont have to disable crank sensors, etc...

I disabled 0300 but still had an incomplete readiness flag. Made two trips (work and back) and readiness was complete when read at an emissions test garage. If you are waiting for the readiness state so that you pass OBD testing, check what the requirements are in NY. It may pass with just one incomplete.
