Default Tuning after LT's and ORY?

Is it worth tuning after I put LT's and ORY on the car and if I should do can it be done with a HP tuner or just LS1 edit.

i would say buy hptuners and tune yourself at this point...if your thinking of modding any further ie cam/heads it wouldnt be worth it to pay someone $500 now and then $500 later IMO.

tuning is definitely worth it after a header install, some people even lose power aftering putting headers on if they dont have the car tuned. I picked up 10rwhp and 10 rwtq from tuning after my headers. Car ran better and got better gas mileage to. I would do it, LS1 Edit, definitely worth it. IMO

Now there is 2 for HP Tuners- I can only tell you that HP tuners has been easy and fast to use. I am glad I listened to everybody and purchased HP Tuners. Just my two cents

Yeah, but how much influence does a HP tune have on exhaust improvements?

Depending on how far out of wack your AFR is, it could be worth it. I will say get HP Tuners over Edit anyday of the week. Depending on how soon you want to get something and what you are looking for, there is a new package that EFI Live is releasing withing the new several weeks. Either way, I would stay away from LS1 Edit.

i say spend the extra now, get it done with edit. if you have a good tuner around, and acces to a dyno.

Ben, in a nutshell they are two different programs which net the same end result... Some folks like the interface of one over the other. LS1Edit is all I have direct experience with.

If you want to go in 50/50 on HP Tuner, I'd probably be willing to do so (since you'd have to use my laptop, anyway...).
