OK guys, I live in another place than the US or Canada and we may have a different (less) experience in US cars, but something it's becoming clear to me and to some tuner of over here is that the LS1 with stock internals won't gain so much power if you add things like TB, LS6 manifold or headers. As much as I know you have first to increase the VE somehow (heads, cam, rockers, blower, nitro...) and then the bolt ons will help.
Another thing we saw is that those engines are all a little different, and that the result adding performance parts can also be different.
Am I wrong?

Well if I remember right putting Gears and torque converter tends to take some away from the Dyno numbers, however both make the car much faster in the 1/4mile. Also what is " G-Force Tune"? Is that some kind of handheld programer or a real person tuning with Ls1 edit or hptuners? It wouldn't shock me if the Gears and Stall would take back most of what you gained from the Intake and Exhaust setup. But thats just my .02.
I Got mine 99 TA Dyno'd with just a predator tune, descreened MAF & ported, K&N, and flowmaster muffler and it was 298HP. Sense I've had a CC cam installed, Pace setter LT headers, custom 3inch Y pipe, high flow cat, SLP lid, stock 2002 MAF /W screen, Ported TB, and deleted !air, !egr, and rear O2 sensors. I haven't dyno'd it yet so I can't give you any numbers tell after christmas when I get a tune done then I'll re dyno it again. If it's worth anything the Butt dyno says I gained somewere around 60HP and with a tune more like 70+ as it is running real rough with no tune.

G-force is a performance shop in pearland... i had LS1 Edit done there with dyno. I feel a bigg diff with my headers. it just my numbers dont show... which is dissapointing. i havent taken it to the track... i just fell i'm goin to be dissapointed again.
Can there somthing be wrong or off internally to cause power loss like this?
my timing was turned up to 30 deg. and my A/F was dead on

don't feel that bad. i hate dyno #'s, my cars always dyno low, but run very good times for what is done.
my car with lid/tci ssf 3500 unlocked/ 160*tstat and a GOOD self tune made only 291rwhp/ 300rwtq. then i came back with the tune a little bit richer and made only 275rwhp/ 280rwtq (cheap dyno day).
your stock dyno is GOOD for an unlocked car with your modifications. also- track times don't lie, but dyno's can...

What are the LT hooked up too? If you added headers, kept the CATS and have a shitty Ypipe etc it wont matter. If you put a cutout on it after the y, dual cutouts in the Y etc you will gain!
Also, the heavier rims will take out some of the "OMG look at my dyno!" factor.
G thingie tune? You need to go back and look at the old dyno, the Actual AFR and timing compared to the new Dyno. If you had a 13.1:1 AFR before and now you have a 12:1 you will be shy quite a few hp, your torque should pick up from the extra fuel but that can be beyond the diminishing point too. If your timing was up at 31* and no KR and now its at 31* with KR your losing....
My point, there are too many variables to go off a dyno comparison period. Unless you set everything up the exact same, to include strapping it in the same spot on the rollers etc your skewing your numbers.
Good luck....and BTW, a simple cam will make a big difference, and heads will make you puke for purchase price, but the gains after are sweet.

dyno numbers don't mean everything. Just your change in rim size could cause a loss in power due to the weight. If you felt in in your driving, then it did something. Did it add power under the curve?
