whats funny is i was looking for the part number and i came across this thread.

25318411 works out to be a stock LS6 MAF according to PaceParts.com with a screen

25341604 works out to be a diffrent one that doesnt have a screen in it.

im no expert, but i do know that the screen makes a diff... and that you SHOULD recalibrate the MAF table diffrently depending on if you have a screen or not...................

somthing to think about.

They'd all be LS6 MAFs ... I don't keep up w/the changes to vettes but my guess would be that early LS6 MAFs had a screen and later ones didn't ? 01 and 02 didn't have a screen right? how bout 00?

The Z06 MAF for 2002+ does not have the screen, the PCM was calabrated to operate without it. The standard LS1 for 2001+ used the LS6 intake but came with the screen installed and the PCM was calabrated to operate with the screen.

are the MAF tables for a factory screened LS6 MAF with the screen removed, the same as the factory nonscreen LS6 MAF?
