Need alittle help with tuning!
hey everyone, I recently purchased a Predator Tuner, I installed the tune on my car this morning. Here is my problem, I am running 93 octane from Shell and when i am at WOT, im getting a sound like bad gas or it's missing. My question is: being that my car is pretty stock, should I advance the timing at WOT or decrease it to get rid of this sound? And those of you that have done it, what was a good advance(-/+) number that you used?
Thanks,
Landon

i have a K&N & lid, magnaflow catback exhaust, y-pipe. I havent touched the timing, its the performance tune i got from the predator. I added +4 richer tonight and drove it, and it was not making the noise but it was raining and sleeting so I couldnt really get on it. If it still makes the noise tommorow, Do you suggest just pulling timing down a notch?

Remove the predator tune.. problem persist? If not then it's definetly the tune...
it's probably adding too much timing and reducing PE by too much...
the +4 to fueling is good (to fix the lean condition... though not sure what +4 in a predator tune means)
if it's still making the noise DEFINETLY pull timing... though w/out a scanner it's hard to tell what's going on....
