The BIG STUFF 3 is a very good stand alone & can be used for every day street use. We have a couple of guys running around town w/ it. You need to have some one/shop tune it for you or get a good base tune & play w/ it from there. Do not try & start from scratch w/ any stand alone. Just my 2 cents

F.a.s.t is also a good system. I hear BS3 has more options but I hear getting in touch with a person to find out about it is hard. The guys on Turbomustang are not getting any info. Maybe that will be corrected.

F.A.S.T. is pretty easy to tune once you understand what each graph does to your engine. You will need someone to tell you that because the manual does not do a good job of it. It is easy after that.

The unit controls
A/F ratio
timing
cold crank
idle
nitrous activation
nitrous fuel
added fuel for nitrous
logging
IAC controls
auxillary fuel enrichment

My advice would be to pick a seller that has a reputation (good one) selling and running that system. Make sure he understands you need help with a base tune and a good understanding of the system.

Well it all depends. I personally wouldn't spend the money on an aftermarket ECU for my car unless I really needed it. Like if I was running a lot of boost, had money burning a hole in my pocket, etc. What kind of problems are you having with the stock computer?

That is what happens when somebody bounces off the limiter on bottle repeatedly. No, it isn't mine.
