EFILive store is open for FlashsScan orders!
I just ordered mine - The wait is over.
Check out the Timing info posted by GMPX in the Flashscan forum. They have a few custom PIDs that will tell us where our timing values are coming from.
FWIW.

The checkout function doesn't seem to be working right. It won't let you complete the transaction until you choose a shipping option, yet it doesn't give you a way to select a shipping option. How did you add shipping to complete the transaction?

As for shipping there aren't many options. I selected the radio button for United States. It's $27.50.
As you complete the order, the order appears to be loading, based on the progress bar on bottom of ie page, but you have to ignore the progress bar and select the next option. Then each successive page will appear.
The same thing happened when I was ordering. There is an order button on the botton stating the quantity in the checkout which is filled automatically when you select a choice from the ugrade screen..but it doesn't say to click the order button to display the shopping cart window to continue (because there is a shopping cart button on the top of the screen which it appears you are supposed to select instead). But if you select it before selecting the order button, the shopping cart will show empty.
BTW, the order button appears as text instead of a button.
One assumes you select the shopping cart button to see what is in your shopping cart, but until you click the order button, the shopping cart will remain mty. They should insert some text explaining to select this button to initiate the order to get to the shopping cart window.
I suspect the same is happening on the shipping options page.
If you are wanting something better than 3 days, it's doesn't appear there are other options. I don't think you can expect overnight from Australia to the US.
3 days is pretty good.
I expected more orders...I was number 35.

Am I correct in that the FlashScan locks to a VIN# ? I was reading about this on the pricing page. Why not go with a tuning tool that gives you two vehicles and is not VIN locked?

If you order before Jan 31, you get licenses for 4 vehicles.
However, for those of us with 98's it will be open source, so the license for 98's is unlimited (based on the way I read the agreement).
Each licensing agreement (HP, LSEdit, and EFILive) have advantanges and disadvantages.

Tuning files for the 98's are expected to be released by end of Jan according to discussions about this issue on their site.
From the EFI live forum.
"Anyone who has purchased a FlashScan interface with at least the Personal level license will be able to use the 98 definitions to tune any 98 LS1.
That being said, remember that EFILive is making available the calibration definition document so that a 98 calibration definition can be created by the user community. Once it is created EFILive will offer it free of charge to EFILive FlashScan Customers.
Tuning any 98 PCM will not use up a VIN slot so you'll still have 2 slots.
That also means you can tune as many 98's as you like."

I tend to pick up a lot of the tuning tools and do in-depth comparisons for the locals (and several shops as well). I have had LS1Edit for years, played with a couple up-and-coming packages that never made it to market, and borrowed HP Tuners (but would love a copy of my own to play with).

I am order number 25 which is really order number 13. The first 12 were test orders.
Another thing I like is I do not have to send back the old cables. I can still use them if I need to but I do not think I will need to. I like the logging without a notebook in the car. It will be great for quick runs or at the track.
