HELP - - bought an used HPPIII, but it will not work on my car

It says it cannot read my VIN? The auction said it was for a 1999.
Do you think my PCM is screwed up?

possibly was never removed from the initial car...if so you are sol try and get your $ back.

I bought one off Ebay that had the same issue.Don't bother calling Hypertech they
are no help.0 support if you are not the original owner.
Try to get your money back.

:sigh: If you're buying one make sure it's been returned to stock first. When I sold mine I even sent my original invoice with it in case there were any problems.
