Where are you located. It would be alot better to get someone to customize it for your car on a dyno/road.

Im sure that we have a sponsor that can dyno tune in that area. I think http://www.ls1speed.com is in your area but im not sure. Might be something to look into.

Yea I don't think there are any sponsors out there ...

http://www.horist.com/ls1tech/display.asp The list I have there is missing a few of the newest sponsors, and there should be a much better one slated for release soon (if it's not out already?) but I don't see any Missouri tuners

Speed Inc is in Schaumburg, so not right next door... but INTMD8 does good work so may be worth the drive up there for a dyno tune?

Also There's Finishline Performance in Naperville
and Straightline Performance in Orland Park area (but not sure if they offer dyno tuning yet)

Mail order tuning to me seems like guessing. And guessing is is not something that makes me very sure. Get a dyno tune. Even if you have to drive for 2 hours to do it.

how big of a heads/cam setup? I got mine pretty driveable within about 20 mins of tuning and had never tuned before my Z that was with a fairly large cam(tsp 231/237) through an automatic...unless its some huge cam i would assume you could at least get your idle/driveability pretty decent using your friends hptuners...and if it is a huge cam you really wont just want a mail tune more then likely in the long run anywayz.

We can do a mail order tune for you although a dyno tune is much better as it allows you to dial in all the a/f and ign parameters to a more exacting degree. We offer free limited changes on mail order tunes.
