does any body know what might be wrong when i try to connect to the pcm it just freezes up right away my comm port is 1 and the infared port is disabled i click connect and then ok at the warning screen then it instanly freezes

i cant figure this one out i just restored my laptop to new and have no software or anything

any help is apreaceted
