Default Is it possible to lose my tuning?

My trips to the track this year were rather disappointing (lost almost 3 mph from the previous year) and i've been trying to figure out if anything is wrong with my car. If my battery dies, is it possible that my computer could reset and lose my tuning?

You lose your fuel and idle trims if the pcm loses power, not your actual tune. All you have to do is drive it a few miles and it'll be back to normal.
