Default 100dry shot mess up original tune?

Will adding a 100 dry shot of nitrous screw up an original camshaft tune at all? I may be adding nitrous after I get my tune. Should I wait till I add the nitrous before getting a tune?

you should be ok, a 100 shot really isnt that big to worry about it. There are a trillion guys using a 100 shot on a factory program.

A 100 dry shot on a Cam only car with the factory tuning?? I dunno about that Jes. If it is a bone stock car then I would say it would be fine, but a bolt on or cam car I would check it on a dyno just to make sure after you get it tuned. I have seen a few run lean on dry shots. Also, if you are doing this on your stock 00 injectors, I would maybe upgrade alittle if it was me.

If you are tuned for the cam and your A/F looks good the the MAF should richen it up when you spray a dry shot. To me safe stick it on a dyno when you spray the first time and if it starts running lean shut it down. If you don't have a dyno then listen to the motor when you first start to spray for detonation. If you hear some then shut it down and get some fuel added into your tune.

Is it really neccessary to buy bigger injectors? I thought I didn't need to upgrade any of my fuel componants untill going with anything bigger than a 125shot?

you have a 2000 so you've only got 26lb/hr injectors... car's making more power than stock from the engine/exhaust work... the cam will add even more power... so a 100 shot plus the other mods on 26lbers may be pushign it...

I know people that have sprayed on small injectors and have had no problem... but they also don't keep cars very long... figure w/the cam and your other mods you'll be around 360-370 rwhp maybe? Maybe more (I haven't been keeping up w/dynos , more on track times) ... add a 100 shot on top of that... now you're pushing 450+rwhp , that's about the same as 530 fly wheel horsepower... that's alot of power for a 26lb injector...

It may work... but personally I'd be worried about being able to deliver enough fuel...

Rather be safe then sorry I guess. What size injectors should I get then?

On a side note I am looking at 390rwhp-400rwhp with just the cam and full boltons. That's what most other people with a similiar setup seem to be hitting.

lots of people go w/the SVO 30lb injectors... they are actually about 35lb on our cars

Ok, that rwhp looks right for an M6 .

TSP has GM Factory Fuel Rail with 28.8 lb. Fuel Injectors for only $60, would that be sufficient enough for my application?

may be.. 28.8lb injectors are what came in 98, 01 and 02s (F-Bodies) ... that's only 2lb/hr more flow than stock though... may want to ask in the nitrous section ... I'm overly paranoid about fueling so went to 42lb/hr injectors (~48lb/hr on our cars) ...

this was when my original intent was my 382 + 125 dry shot... I'm giving up on the dry shot now though...

Key is safety... I just don't know that 28lb/hr injectors would support 550/600 fwhp

I agree with horist and I personally wouldn't chance it. I would just get the 30's. You know you won't stay with a 100 shot.
