Need a MAF table for a ported/descreened MAF. Not 85mm
I need some help. I'm looking for a MAF table for a ported/descreened MAF. This is not for an 85mm unit. It is the standard diameter unit used in 97-00 C5's and ALL 98-02 LS1 F-bodies.
Please let me know if you have one...
Thanks
Steve.

Problem is once you port it, you -aren't- the standard
diameter anymore. That's where the problem comes in.
Might get lucky if you have used MAF ends that are a
common size and somebody went and tweaked the table
up. But if you went buck-wild with the die grinder and
made a unique piece then you'll have to back into the
MAF table by looking at higher-RPM mixture error (and
hope you haven't stacked other mixture-bending mods
that would obscure the result).

Yeah I understand that, I was just trying to get a somewhat of a baseline. Maybe something someone else has done, or the ends like you said. It is not a home ported unit. It was one done by West Coast Corvette. Not a hacked up piece, done right.
http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/sho...tail.cfm?id=81 is the unit with a pic of how it looks.
Hmm.. just trying to get a baseline. Don't know if maybe I should just scale the table or soemthing to try and compensate for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Do you have any other mods that would affect the mixture?
If no then the right answer might just be to hook up a
wideband unit and look at actual vs commanded AFR,
attribute all error to the MAF, and scale the table by that.
I think while you're at it, might as well start from the
Holden table since it has a more sensible top end.

Car has longtubes, offroad X. K&N Dual cone setup, a Ported TB from the same place as the MAF, all boltons... I know it's a lil bit off right now.
I'm going to try and do a good scan later today, but we shall see if I get the time.
I've also read a decent amount into tuning it without the MAF altogether...
I was reading something about the Holden table as well... not sure where I can locate it online..
Thanks for the help
