Default Left Side Running Too Lean?

I posted earlier, about a month ago, maybe two, about geeting a SES light due to the MAF. I bought the new one, Granatell MAF350112-RC and the ses light went away. After a while it came back and I thought it was the new MAF. Went to Autozone and they told me the left engine side was running too lean. Should I replace the sparkplugs so the SES light goes away by itself or should I replace the plugs and then get it removed at auto zone?
Pleas help?

Replace the MAF with a stock descreened if you aren't
going to tune.

i kept getting the P0171 left bank lean code. found out the EGR tube gasket kept getting sucked out of place. you can hear a sucking noise right where the tube goes into the intake. 10mm socket takes the bolt off. pull up on the tube. slide gasket back up then tighten back down. #1 cylinder is right behind the EGR tube. so, it's the first to get all the unmetered air. which was giving me the P0171 code.

Did they tell you what the code was? Also do you know what bank it acutally is...bank 1 or 2? If I had to guess I would say it's an 02 as well...find out which bank is running lean and change out that 02. If you knew someone with atap it would be a lot easier to trouble shoot.
