Default How hard is it?????

For a everyday Joe to get an HP Tuner and program a comp?? My friend advanced his timing too much and screwed his motor up. I got this car below and I need to tune it. I was just wondering if I should send it out or get the HP Tuner. I am willing to learn.

Thanks guys

Tuners is really easy to use. Just do a good search, ask questions after you search, and you will be fine. There are a lot of knowledgable guys on here and the HPT forums that help.

Just takes time and patience... and reading I've used HP Tuners for almost a year now and love it ... makes eveything so much easier w/the integrated scanner/tuner and I can use it on both my cars

It is still complex depending on how "off" you setup is. Don't get me wrong I love my HPTuners but there are so many different methods of tunning that its hard to figure out which method to use and when to use it.

On the up note is I think I'm getting closer to at least having an outline of the basic steps worked out (tell I read more then find more contradicting information).

I wouldn't trade my HPTuners for the World, just wish there was a tried and true "step by step" outline for the average Bolt On car.
