for the PCM bracket screw ... go to sears and buy a set of "easy outs"

for the ratchet extension ... go to sears and buy one of their magnet wands.... preferably w/a head that can change angles

best bet is to lift the car up, put jackstands under it and feel around ....

Probably nothing to worry about though... in 2002 I lost a 10mm socket ... in may 2004 I found it in a gully in the K-Member heh .... but if you dropped it up top.. it's on the bottom most likely .. so get it in the air and feel around....

for the gray plastic pieces that cover the stock PCM??

if so... I'll check on the part numbers in the morning (I haven't had them since 2001)

the plastic thing that holds the PCM and is held with the 10mm bolts. where in IL you at? i used to live in algonquin

i also need to remove the screws that are still in there for the 10mm bolts cause i had to bend it. do i need a screw driver to pop the color coded wires open?

hey man thanks!!! the only confusion with the 1st attacthment...

i don't see a 97? i see a 98 and 99-02, which one would i use? i'll put that part number in and see how much it costs.

edit: i thought i put down i had a 97 when you asked me what year i had? for some reason the post didn't go through. instead of you doin the work, just link me to the site with the parts so i can try to check it out and you can tell me where to go

Ah ok, well luckily the part manual I have is for 93-02 F-Bodies

The manual I'm using is actualy a 640MB pdf file , so there aren't any URLs for it heh (There are some parts manuals online but I don't know any of the URLs off hand)

Looks like you need part 1
