Default Would my ltrims be off if it was tuned for the wrong cam?

Im wondering if my ltrims would be off if it was tuned for the wrong cam, i would assume so. The reason im asking is i have virtually no lope and just doesn't sound like i would expect from my cam (lt4 hot cam). The only thing that im taking into consideration is the fact that its a 383 and all the cars i have heard with the same cam are in 350's.. But there is pretty much no lope, but when i got my mail order tune i told them the specs of the cam and thats what they tuned for... I have -2 ltrims, so that would lead me to belive i do have the right cam right? I mean it just wouldn't run right if the actual cam was smaller than it was tuned for right?
