i put on a ls6 intake, hooker shorties, and an ftra... a few mnths after having it tuned, now the exhaust seems very rich smelling.... is it possible those things changed my a/f that much? kinda sux to have to pay another 400 beans to get these things tuned in.

The will have all affected it to some degree. Nothing massive like a cam, but I am sure a tune would be somewhat helpful. I would not seat over it with just shorties. P.S. beware the rusting shorties. I wish I could have found some stainless ones....mine are starting to rust badly.
