question for F.A.S.T users (problem with car )
i was racing my car saturday night and during a pass i went to second gear and it just quit like you shut the key off . it is firing at the coil . the car is a lt1 stroked to 396 with a t76 turbo with a F.A.S.T. piggyback . was wondering if anyone else ever ran into a similar problem .have not had time to fully check it out . a buddy of mine suspects the opti but not for sure . you can hear the fuel pump run and it shows pressure on the guage . any suggestions on where to look first .

Well, just a few guesses.
I've had an opti rotor come apart, to where the car wouldn't run, but it still had spark.
Also, check the injector fuse. I'm sure at this point you are using low impedence injectors, which pull much more amps than high impedence injectors.

You can do as i did on my GN, Find the injector power wire(+feed) and cut it,Now get a relay and hotwire the + side of the injectors and use the factory + wire to trigger the relay,
You will most likely have to retune a bit,as it may run richer with more power,Run ther relay right off the power block or the Alt or the battery.
This is a smart move when using low imp injectors
Same idea as hot wiring a fuel pump
