How high should I set my rev-limiter
Forged 347, harden pushrods, AFR heads with springs good for .650 lift.
I'm using LS-1 edit, right now its 6900, I was thinging of raising it to 7300-7500?
Thanks
Andrew

I have those springs. My guess is I was up around 7200rpm's before the limiter got it back down. Maybe if you use lightweight valves and shim the springs...

What rear gear? if stock 3.23s that should be fine ... another method of setting shift points is to set the MPH to shift at way low, then set the RPM to shift at at the RPM you want to shift at (in order for the PCM to command a shift it must meet both requirements, if you set the WOT 2-3 shift at 60mph but the 2-3 RPM at 6700, it must be going faster than 60mph and at 6700 RPM to shift ... makes it a lil easier)
Also as mentioned... I wouldn't shift that high on those springs... not even sure if I'd shift that high on a hydraulic cam ...
