Default Lockup converter programing

Can anyone tell me if I can program the convereter to lock hard instead of the factory soft lock up? What I mean is it partialy locks up then locks all the way up. I thought there was a problem with the lockup, but I checked it with a GM Tech Tool and the cars computer is doing it. It calls for 25% duty cycle then 97% duty cycle durring the lockup. I use LS1 Edit. My trans man said he could modify the trans to make it lock at 100% when the computer calls for any lock up.
