Default knock sensor question

Do you keep the knock sensor when using a stand alone computer like BS3, electromotive tecIII, or Megasquirt? What about if its a solid roller? Thanks

For Big Stuff 3 its an up and coming addition. Currently BS3 does not have ESC for gen3.. But..... Should soon.

I am pretty sure Mega uses ESC

ESC=electronic spark control?
I Know the tecIII has spark control. does that mean you could use knock sensors?

Any more noise on this? What about for LS2 knock sensor postions and the other odds and ends like cam and crank position sensors?
