logging MAF freq in SD?

Default logging MAF freq in SD?
so if i leave the codes off and set the fail freq. to 0, can i log the frequency without it messing with the fuel trims and **** or no??

if you set it to0 it will force SD mode and you will still be able to see the frequency of the maf
