Default Cars been tuned--now new gears--what to do?

My car was tuned with LS1 edit and now I'm getting new gears in my 12 bolt, what should I do to just change the gear setting? If I use a hpp3 won't it screw up the other settings? I don't have anything right now, as far as tuning tools, should I just send out the pcm and have it done?

If you live anywhere near central florida then I would be able to help you out if not try to find someone with hp tuners for your car and have them do it!!

No, it won't mess up the other stuff. Just don't put in the HPP3 power program. I use mine for gear and tire swaps all the time.

I also have couple things changed with HPTuners. It''s shared among a couple of us so I don't always have access to it.

I called hypertech and they said it won't work, it will corrupt the files or might not even recognize the ecm at all. Damn. Guess I have to send the ecm to someone to do it? I'm not close to Ky either....
