Default Changing rear gear with LS1 Edit HELP!!!

Hey guys and gals,

Looking for some advice on what I need to change in LS1 Edit to get my speedometer and transmission in sync with my new rear gear. I am going from a 3.23 to a 3.73. I have done a couple "dry" runs trying to get aquainted with the menus and I think I have it figured out but wanted to ask some of the veterans out there first.
Looks like the biggest thing to do is:

Edit>speedometer>fill in white box with 3.73>then click the "apply gear and tire scale" button

On my dry runs it looks like it also changes the auto's shift mph accordingly too. Am I right in thinking that this is the only thing I will need to adjust on right now to keep my speedometer right and my trans somewhat happy? Thanks for any help you can pass this way on this.
Kris

That is correct. The shift points are adjusted and you might need to tweak them slightly to your liking.

Good deal, thanks for confirming it for me. We are installing my 12 bolt tomorrow and I wanted to make sure of what I was doing. Thanks again
