SES light after torque convertor install-help!
I had a TCI Streetfighter installed today and about 2 miles after the install my SES light came on. Any ideas why? I have not run the codes. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
PS. Do you get used to the stall? So far, I really wish I didn't have it done.

What year car? What size stall? When the SES light came on, did you still have all your gears or did you lose some?
As far as getting used to it..I got used to mine..it was definitely different at first...but I'm used to it now..and don't know if I could drive a car without a stall now..(btw..I have a TCS 4200).

It's probably a "Random Misfire" code. That is pretty typical in a car with a new stall without a tune. There is a table or 3 in the PCM program that needs to be set to "32567" in all cells for this to go away. It's caused by the dramatic decrease in weight of the new stall vs the stocker. The engine was calibrated to have / expect all the extra weight on the back of the crankshaft to spin. Now it's gone so things are a little out of sync.
