Default running with no maf

I just had my car tuned for open loop and I wanted to remove my maf. Does anyone have any pictures of this? What can be use to take the place of the removed maf? Thanks to anyone who can provide some help.

Search for "mafless". I ran MAFless for a long time. It has it's advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages:
1) sometimes better driveability on cammed cars
2) more power, part throttle and WOT

Disadvantages:
1) can cause some light throttle bucking (particularly in cams with a lot of overlap)
2) may need re-tuning for elevation changes or different seasons (particularly dependant on how close your tuner gets the tune)

I have a couple buddies running MAFless right now. The M6 guy loves it, the A4 go went back to running a MAF. For some reason the A4 car would run good without the MAF but then the trans line pressure would shoot up super high. Soon as he replaced the MAF the problem went away.

Thanks guy for the help I am going to try a search on mafless later today. My car is a 2000 z28 ss. I have a manual trans and just put in what I consider to be a semi large cam. It is a 230/234 .591/.598 112lsa. I also went with ffhp cylinder heads. I had a thunder racing 224 cam with the stock heads before.

Do some searches at www.ls1.com.au also. The Aussies love MAFless.
