weird maf problem
I ported my own MAF over a year ago and used it no problem Finally started having some issues with it and my single nossle dry shot, so I figured I'd revert back to stock. I bought some completely stock MAF ends (note: ends only, I reused my sensor) including screen. I put them on and car was fine for a day. I can't imagine that reverting back to a stock MAF would cause these problems alone.
Today, SES light is on. Got it scanned and I got 4 codes:
Transient
P0102 - MAF or VAF circuit low input
P0135 - O2 Sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)
History
P0172 - system too rich bank 1
P0175 - system too rich bank 2
So I figured whatever caused the MAF to screw up is causing the car to run extremely rich (very noticable today) and it fouled out an O2 sensor.
What can I do to determine what is wrong? Guess I could swap MAFs with someone for a while.
