completely remove MAF??? VE tune???
has anybody 100% completely removed their MAF?? just went to a ve tune and connected a pipe from their lid to the TB??? or custom fabbed some kind of intake with it connecting directly to the TB??
I am thinking of this road myself....
if you have???
please tell me what codes to delete or change....and what other things I might have to do to make it work properly...
oviously I have to have a good VE tune going on...and tune it with a Wideband....(on the way...backordered )

I explored this once upon a time. I found that SD airmass calculations were much more picky than the MAF and caused my fueling (trims) to hop around a bit. They'd be stable for certain periods, but would adjust and relearn in different weather and such. I didn't like it based on what my tuning goals were. I just ran a straight bellows which maybe netted a couple more horses.
