Default wideband 02 conversion

Is there any way to replace the stock 02 sensors with wideband and use the stock wiring? Im interested in running a wideband for tuning do I need to place the sensor in the stock location or just make a third bung for it? What all is involved in making a wideband work with the stock pcm/vcm and also making it work with HP tuners?

Is one brand better than another? recommendations?

my advice would be to look into the AEM wideband setup its like 447.00 from Jegs. it comes with the sensor the guage and whole setup. Im told its the way to go and when I can afford it its the way Im going.

PLX M-300 here and works grate. I logged the LTFT using the stock O2 then using the narrowband output and the values are the same. I have an extra bung for the WB, just to be able to compare it with the stock.
