Any writeups on how to log, and tune IAC and Airflow
Have HPT, I seen how to change the config for scanning, but not exactly sure which tables I need to scan, if it can all be done with one config, or if I will need multiple. Any writeups greatly appreciated. I am havign issues with a surging at idle, cruise control and idle when put back into P/N climbing to about 1500rpms. I had tuned it before by shooting from the hip with Edit. HPT seems much more up to task, I just need some guidance. Thanks guys.

Mine is doing the exact same thing and when I turn the AC on, it climbs even higher. Eventually it comes back down if I'm sitting still for a minute but as soon as I touch the gas pedal again, it flies right back up there. I'm going to try and tinker the the HPT this weekend. Are you getting a HIGH IDLE SES light every once in a while also? According to my Scanmaster the IAC motor is moving trying to compensate but once it goes full closed (counts 00 ) it sometimes still doesn't idle down.

No SES, it got a lot better once I pulled the IAC out to clean it, it was carboned up. My AC is tmep. inop so not sure on that one. It doesnt do it all the time, so I am leaning more towards the IAC being jacked up with mine, this is the second time I have had to clean the IAC.
